This policy applies universally to all Baltic Insurance and Survey facilities, operations, employees, contractors, subcontractors and visitors, without exception.

  • Audit and verify technical competence to ensure all tasks are executed safely.
  • Maintain field awareness via systematic toolbox talks, safety campaigns and workshops.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

  • Develop customized, site-specific emergency response plans for every operating location.
  • Conduct routine crisis drills and exercises to evaluate response readiness.
  • Continuously refine emergency protocols based on near-miss data and drill outcomes.

Environmental Management

  • Optimize energy and natural-resource efficiency across laboratory and field environments.
  • Control pollution and minimize waste streams through source reduction, reuse and recycling.
  • Implement biodiversity protections to conserve local ecosystems near operations.

Incident Investigation & Reporting

  • Require immediate reporting of all workplace incidents and near misses.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations led by qualified HSE specialists.
  • Carry out corrective and preventive actions, sharing lessons learned across the organization.

Performance Evaluation & Auditing

  • Establish measurable HSE targets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use independent internal and external audits to identify and close compliance gaps.
  • Review this policy at least annually to confirm ongoing legal and operational relevance.
